Rest In Peace J-1

Yesterday we heard the tragic news that our friend, Jovan Coleman aka J-1, passed away after an accident in Sweden.

J was a wonderfully positive and loving human being, a talented producer and an incredible drummer. He was so supportive of what we do, for which we will always be thankful, as well as being thankful that he graced our lives. We just wish we were able to spend more time in his company.

Our thoughts and love go out to Dam-Funk, Computer Jay (with whom J drummed with in Master Blazter) and, of course, his family and friends.

We miss you brother, rest in peace.

Hoya:Hoya Podcast 3- Ikonika

Time for the third installment of our little mix series and this one comes courtesy of Hoya favourite, Ikonika.

Ikonika is one of the best in the game, carving out her own unique sound from the early release of ‘Please’ through to her last release, ‘Fleas’ on our own label; she’s played Hoya three times, release on HOYA003 so it only seemed right to do the third podcast.

Twenty odd minutes of goodness from Mosca, Wiley, Kuedo as well as music from her Hum + Buzz label, run with Optimum, get the free download and stream below.

Enjoy.

Illum Sphere’s Set from the Radiohead Boiler Room

After posting Lone’s amazing set from the Radiohead Boiler Room, they’ve now posted up Illum Sphere’s. Click HERE to watch and download…

Once again, thanks for XL Recordings, Radiohead and Boiler Room.

Lone’s Set From The Radiohead Boiler Room

As everyone probably knows, Lone and Illum Sphere were invited by Radiohead to play at their launch party for TKOL 1234567 remix album. It was a historic night, and having two Hoya boys there is kinda, well, crazy.

Anyway, Lone’s set has now been uploaded, so head over to the Boiler Room by clicking HERE.

A Whole Lotta Krystal Klear

Krystal Klear has just returned to these shores after two months in the US. Whilst he was there he played shows from East to West at probably your favourite spots. If you missed him, then check the links below. If you caught him, then check them still, and pine until he hits your shores again.

Love.
